As marijuana becomes more accessible across California, a growing concern for parents, educators, and community leaders in the South Bay is the rise in teen driving under the influence of cannabis. While many teens may view marijuana as “safer” than alcohol, the reality is that driving high is both illegal and dangerous, with serious legal and life-altering consequences.

Codependency isn't always easy to spot, especially when it’s disguised as love, protection, or “just wanting to help.” But when one parent becomes overly enmeshed in a child’s emotional world, it can create an unhealthy dynamic that limits growth for everyone involved.
